Dena is clinical director of counseling at Living Well Center. She began her education in nursing and, stimulated by her interest in the human mind & body, she earned her bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in women’s studies. She is a licensed clinical social worker, receiving her Masters degree from Barry University. Dena studied at Hanley Hazelden to earn her Addiction Professional Certification. She is certified by the State of Florida to provide supervision for Social Workers and to provide continuing education to LCSW, LMHC, LMFT professionals.
She has extensive counseling experience - focusing on recovery issues, including post traumatic stress, sexual abuse, domestic violence, loss & grief, co-dependency, substance abuse, as well as inter-personal relationships.
Dena emphasizes teaching people the life skills needed for successful living. She has been in private practice for over 20 years. Personal & professional development trainings are offered through workshops, teleclasses, home study and e-courses. Besides office sessions, online and telephone counseling is also offered to residents throughout Florida. Dena's coaching services and products are available to individuals, couples, therapists, groups/ teams and social entrepreneurs in English-speaking countries.

He has been a chiropractic physician for over 20 years.
After serving in the US Air Force, he received his bachelors degree in biology and chemistry from Florida State University. Upon graduation he was a science teacher and coach for 6 years. During this time he developed a keen interest in health & nutrition and decided to enroll at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating with honors.
Dr. Ficara studied and earned his acupuncture certificate from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and his addictionologist certificate from the American. College of Addictionology and Compulsive Disorders. He has completed post-graduate training in the diagnosing and treatment of whiplash & brain trauma from the Spinal Research Institute of San Diego. This training has allowed him over the years to deliver the best possible care to over 400 patients who suffered whiplashes in automobile accidents. He has also received training from Ulan Nutritional Systems to assess his patient's nutritional needs along with dozens of other nutritional courses.
Besides being a physician, he focuses on being a health & wellness educator, teaching his clients how to become pro-active in their own health & recovery.

He is available to lecture to any size group or organization
on a variety of topics related to natural health & healing.
